From dawn beach cleanups along Juhu’s coastline to community outreach in Carter Road and suburban Mumbai, our presence is firmly anchored in the city we call home.
Active field programs spanning notebook learning sessions with children, hunger relief food drives, hillside tree plantations, and stray animal welfare.
A welcoming community uniting students, working professionals, and local groups who share one simple intent: giving a few hours to make life better for someone else.
Before there was a Trust, there was a decision to keep coming back.
After Ganesh Visarjan, a beach cleanup began as a one-day activity. The experience stayed long after the day ended.
Working with different NGOs meant food distribution, education initiatives, tree plantations, and even collars for stray dogs. The point was never to do something grand. It was to show up wherever possible.
Alongside others with the same intent, participation grew into coordination and eventually leading initiatives across different efforts.
JNM Trust gives that consistent intent a more structured platform: a way to build meaningful work with long-term impact.
Founder’s note · First-person account
“While this may seem like a new beginning, the journey started much earlier.
Back in 2016, after Ganesh Visarjan, I was part of a beach cleanup drive. What began as a one-day activity stayed with me longer than I expected.
Over time, that turned into consistent involvement with different NGOs, contributing through food distribution drives, education initiatives, tree plantations, and even small efforts like distributing collars for stray dogs. It was never about doing something big, just about showing up wherever possible.
As I continued, I found myself working with larger groups of people who shared the same intent. What started as participation gradually became coordination, and eventually leading initiatives across different efforts.
At some point, it became clear that this wasn’t just something occasional. It was something I wanted to build on with more consistency and direction.
That’s what led to JNM Trust.
The vision remains the same: to do meaningful work that creates real, long-term impact. The only difference now is having a platform to take that intent forward in a more structured way.
Still early, but looking forward to building this with the same spirit it started with.”
